You’re either stuck near the airport due to a delay or cancellation, or hoping to squeeze a run in before a flight. Some cities have some surprisingly good places to run near their major airport. This is a list of airports with the best running options near by. The focus is on major cities. We also point where there are hotels in easiest proximity to the routes. One of the only trails that loops around an airport, that we know of! The paved 10.7 mile path loops around BWI Airport, with some surprisingly nice sections. Good access from airport hotels & transit. Can also connect to the B&A Trail.
