Gorgeous Lake Loops

This is a list of 25 of our favorite lake loops. It’s culled from the 70+ routes in our “Lake Loops” category. These are the lake loops that are especially scenic and beautiful. To qualify, the route has to be a full loop around a natural lake, minimum 5 km (3 miles) around, water views most of the way, and not a difficult trail run. To see ALL of our loops around lakes, see the Lake Loops category. We have several hundred additional routes that are along lakes, which can be viewed using our ‘along the water’ keyword. The list is in alphabetical order by city. NOTE: To return to this page, click ‘back’ button in browser.
