Hart’s Brook Park & Ridge Road Park (Hartsdale/Scarsdale)

Google Street View

In the Hartsdale/Scarsdale area, combining Hart’s Brook Park and Ridge Road Park makes for an easy, mainly wooded trail run. The 123-acre Hart’s Brook Park preserve is located on grounds of the former Gaisman Estate. There are 2.5 miles of trails through older woods and meadows. Use Ridge Rd. to connect to 236-acre Ridge Road Park, which features 2.5 miles of lovely, wide, and mainly wooded trails. Both parks have a signboard with trail map.

Add-Ons: The residential streets of Hartsdale/Scarsdale are quiet and pleasant for running. The nicest section is east of the Hartsdale Train Station (use 100A/East Hartsdale Ave., not very scenic but there are sidewalks).
