The Foreshore (waterfront) path is the signature run in Geraldton. A path separated from the road goes from The Esplanade north for 9.2 km to Beresford, with ocean views the entire way. Champion Bay Beach & St. Georges Beach are also runnable.

A wonderful paved path along Corio Bay, with waterfront views, numerous parks, and several Geelong sights. It is 3.3 km between Eastern Beach and Rippleside Park. For more, there are additional trails in Eastern Park.
Some excellent paths along the Barwon River, between South Geelong and Highton. A favorite 10k loop runs from Yollinko Park to Buckley Falls Lookout, passing through the hilly Queens Park.

Without a doubt, the highlight of all running in Canberra is this route around Lake Burley Griffin, which hugs the coast through Commonwealth Park and traverses over the water via two bridges.
If too much pavement pounding is jostling your joints, take your run to the Stromlo Forest Park in western Canberra, where the maintenance team has turfed a specialized 2.5k running loop with cushy Santa Ana Couch grass.
If Melbourne does one thing right, it’s waterfront paths. The crown jewel of these is the Capital City Trail, which tracks the Yarra River through the central part of the city. This mostly paved path is a great flat loop to hop onto for a run of any length.
Running 'The Tan' track in Melbourne is a thing. The popular gravel running path looping around Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens and Kings Domain boasts its own website for recorded times! Good additional options nearby.
The pristine walking and cycling path along Tamaki Drive from Judges Bay to St. Heliers delivers striking views of the city skyline from across the bay as well as sections of sweeping beach. It's 8.1 km one-way, with frequent buses between the two points.

Running around 'The Bays' is the classic Wellington Run. A road with path/sidewalk follows the waterfront around several bays for nearly 30 km. Very scenic, great views! Hop on at any point & choose a section! Markers every 500m.
