Parque Estadual do Cocó Trails

Fortaleza, Brazil

Cocó Park, the largest natural urban park in Brazil's north/northeast region, is a great place for a green, shaded run on softer trails. The large green space in the eastern part of the city is a conservation area along the Rio Cocó , with ~2.5 km of trails. Great shade option on a hot day!

Río Querétaro Loop

Querétaro (City), Mexico

An easy to follow route near the historic center of Santiago de Querétaro. Although there's not a dedicated path along the river, the tree-lined Avenida Universidad lines both banks of the river and features a suitable sidewalk for running.

Located in the southern part of the city, Parque O’Higgins is a popular spot for picnics and outdoor recreation, including running. Although the park is not very large, you can fit a 4 kilometer circuit in by looping around the perimeter of the park.

A centrally located road accessing many of São Paulo's interesting points, in the Perdizes neighborhood. Busy, but with bike/pedestrian path along the center of the road. It's about 6.5 km out and back between Allianz Stadium and the Av. Paulo VI end.

A forest in the Cuajimalpa delegation in Mexico City. The best time to visit is on the weekends, when it is bustling with runners and walkers. There are native tree species such as fir, ash and pine. A running circuit of about 2.15 miles is very popular.
